Thank you for participating in this study!  

In this study you will be asked to view a picture of a building and make an estimate regarding its height.

The study should take no more than 2 minutes to complete.

You will not be asked to tell us your name at any point.  All information you give us will be completely anonymous and confidential.

Some people have a fear of heights and you may be asked to view images from the top of a building.  If this concerns you please let us know. You do not have to participate in this study and if at any time you wish to discontinue your participation feel free to tell the experimenter and the study will come to an end.  You will still receive full credit for your participation.

Once the study is complete the researcher will briefly explain the study and will give you a contact sheet. If you have any questions at a later time please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to speak with you.  If you would like the to see the results of the study please let us know and we will be happy to email a summary of the results as soon as it is available.
